If you’re a DIY guy yet need more reasons to cajole you to build your own solar panel, here are ten most important reasons why other DIY-ers like yourself are persuaded to build their own solar power generator. Here they are:
Reason #1: Building your own solar panel is very cost effective. It is a lot cheaper than buying comparable retail panels.
Reason #2: Building your own solar panel takes only less than a week and it is relatively easy to do if you follow a plan.
Reason #3: You’ll get the satisfaction of being able to create something useful with your own hands…and when you see your project powering up your gadgets and appliances, you’ll be filled with warm delight.

I Sincerely thank you for an informative and stimulating site, just what was needed in my case for further advancement, a well timed mental prod…In time I hope to be off the grid using both Sun and Wind, here where I live in a country area of Tasmania, Australia, I suffered last year 63 power outages
and was forced to use at times my 8kva petrol generating unit, I raise chickens in my retirement with the aid of an incubator…Petrol out here costs $5-20 per gallon, so a cheaper source of electicity just had to be sourced, and marry it to a battery bank…
Again, thank you for a wonderful site…
