The energy used to heat up your domestic water supply makes up about a quarter of your utility bills. Sadly this energy can scarcely be recycled as they go down the drainage. The electricity used to provide heat is obtained from burning fossil fuel. Thus a lot of pollution can be avoided by using a solar water heater.
